The ACGA has been a regular source for valuable content aimed at equipping both gift planners and their business office partners with information to help them assess the health of their gift planning programs and to strengthen them for the good of their organizations.
In April 2016, the ACGA announced the establishment of the Frank D. Minton Leadership Initiatives, named for a pioneer of gift planning who continues to work to support organizations in their efforts to sustain gift planning programs that add financial value to their missions. The Initiatives will focus on providing content for individuals who are the decision makers for gift planning programs with respect to rates schedules used, investments strategy, asset allocation, assets to be accepted, types of vehicles offered, and managing outside service providers.
With the launch of the Frank D. Minton Leadership Initiatives, and a renewed emphasis on offering resources to bring gift planning returns to charities while mitigating risks. The Board of ACGA created the Frank D. Minton Leadership Initiatives Endowment Fund. This Fund, initially funded with $50,000 from individual Board member contributions, has a goal of $150,000. The proceeds from the fund will offset the costs of the preparation and distribution of the various materials the Academy will produce. These funds will allow us to expand our services to this new market without diminishing our existing services to our membership. Please join us in this effort to honor one of our heroes and expand the services we provide to your organization. CLICK HERE to be taken to the donation page where your gift can be recorded. The ACGA respectfully requests that you consider making a donation to support the work of the Academy. We are proud of the body of knowledge we support and bring to our members and. charitable organizations. Please join us in these efforts with a gift in support of the Frank D. Minton Leadership Initiatives Endowment Fund.
