As ACGA approaches its 100th year, the Board of Directors recently approved updates to the nonprofit membership structure effective May 15, 2026. These changes reflect ACGA’s continued investment in educational resources, research, technical guidance, and professional development opportunities that support charitable gift annuity program success nationwide.

These updates provide an all-inclusive membership structure that includes access to all ACGA information, resources, and educational offerings. Members will not be asked to pay for additional programming at any time during their membership year. Benefits include, but are not limited to:

• Six Gift Annuity University continuing educational webinars annually
• Access to Gift Annuity University webinar recordings and presentation archives
• Early access to suggested maximum charitable gift annuity rate announcements
• Certified Gift Annuity Issuer Seal demonstrating high organizational issuing standards
• Whitepapers and technical guidance resources
• Research and donor survey initiatives
• Survey reports and rates brochures
• Access to all required courses within the new Gift Annuity University: CGA Professional Program, a structured educational program designed to support charitable gift annuity program success through foundational, intermediate, and advanced training.
• Opportunity for associate members of member organizations to earn the Certified Gift Annuity Specialist (CGAS) designation upon successful completion of all required coursework and passage of the certification exam.
• ACGA expects to launch the first phase of the CGA Professional Program in Spring 2027 as part of its continued expansion of educational and technical resources available to members.
