What is the purpose of the ACGA CGA Donor Survey? The American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA), in partnership with TIAA Kaspick, is conducting a nationwide survey to better understand CGA donors—their motivations, preferences, and experiences. The insights gathered will help strengthen the CGA field and support organizations in communicating more effectively with donors. What are participating organizations asked to do?
How long does the survey take? The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Will donor information be shared with ACGA or TIAA Kaspick? No. Donor responses are anonymous, and no personal information is stored or shared with ACGA or TIAA Kaspick. At the end of the survey there is an optional question for a follow up conversation between the donor and TIAA Kaspick. If the donor voluntarily opts in to participate in a follow up conversation, Kaspick will reach out to the donor but still will not know which charity referred them to the survey. That contact information will not be stored or shared. Is it possible that some donors will receive the survey more than once? Some donors hold charitable gift annuities with multiple organizations. Because each participating organization will send the survey to its own CGA donors, these individuals may receive more than one invitation. To avoid confusion, a disclaimer is included at the top of the survey and in the sample donor email explaining that this may occur. Who created and manages the survey? The survey is created by ACGA in partnership with TIAA Kaspick. All responses are collected directly through TIAA Kaspick’s secure online survey platform. No personal data from the survey participants will be automatically collected. What will participating organizations receive?
How will the results be used?Survey findings will help:
