Fun Facts About Julie

When did you first learn about Charitable Gift Annuities?

I first learned about CGAs in my first planned giving job at the American Museum of Natural History.

When did you secure your first charitable gift annuity?

In my first couple of months at AMNH going through a ‘cold case’ file I ended up completing a $30k CGA. That was in 2000.

Tell us about your favorite charitable gift annuity you worked on.

I have a delightful repeat CGA donor – every CGA with her has been a delight. She is a true believer in the mission and she thinks CGAs are the greatest – and is baffled by why more people aren’t using them. I have done video and print testimonials with her and her beautiful dog – which have also been wonderful.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Probably ahi tuna tacos.

If your life had a tagline, what would it be?

To live is the rarest thing in the world. Oscar Wilde
