When was your first job?
My first job was as a gas station attendant, and it laid the foundation for my understanding of how vital customer service truly is. I realized that even the simplest gesture, like asking someone about their day, can spark genuine connections and build real relationships that go far beyond a transaction.
When did you first learn about charitable gift annuities?
I first learned about charitable gift annuities at an intro to planned giving conference, and I remember thinking they were so cool. I couldn’t wait for the chance to work on one.
What is your favorite way to get in some exercise?
Hiking! Even a bad hike is a good hike.
What’s one piece of advice you wish you’d gotten sooner?
Knowledge is nice but doing makes the difference.
